To manufacture a device that is cost effective and robust, that can compete with the electric utilities head-to-head, dollar for dollar, without excuses, subsidies, rebates and resorting to exaggerated marketing claims. The true goal should be to compete against the power companies, not other wind turbine manufacturers. This requires a new design approach, such as the VAWT/AR.
